Doug Goins: Biographical Information

Doug Goins has been a pastor at Peninsula Bible Church since 1978 and at different times over those years has overseen the worship and arts ministry, adult education, college and university ministry, and most recently been more of a generalist as a host pastor.

Before coming to PBC, Doug was involved in camping ministries at Calvin Crest in Oakhurst, California, and at Mount Hermon Conference Center, Mount Hermon, California. He had also been a youth pastor in southern California. Doug's music background placed him in many different arenas including gospel teams, choir and varsity quartet at Whitworth College in Spokane, Washington; as a choir director at Tigard Friends Church in Tigard, Oregon; as a member of the American Society of Composers and Performers; as a singer in the PJD trio in Spokane, Washington; and as a composer, concert and recording artist. Doug has also been active in community service at Whisman Elementary School in Mountain View, California.

Doug has been married to Candy since 1977, and they have four childrenTrevor, Kathryn, Micah, and Alayna. They live in Mountain View, California.
