Ron was raised in Pennsylvania. He joined the US Air Force in 1953 and served in Rabat, Morocco for the next three and one half years. It was in Rabat that he met and married Anne Marie. They came back to the states and Ron pursued his undergraduate degre e in education in 1962. He then went to Dallas Theological Seminary and received his ThM in 1966. He was a pastor at Walnut Creek Presbyterian Church in California until he joined the staff at Peninsula Bible Church in 1969.

Ron's major ministries at PBC involved preaching, teaching and discipling men from the high-tech community in and around Palo Alto.

Ron has had a national and international ministry for several years working among businessmen and women. He and Anne Marie have two married sons, Ron and Rodd, and a grandson, Rene Charles.

Since January 1997, Ron Ritchie has been on the staff of Fellowship Bible Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
