Peninsula Bible Church of Palo Alto, California
Scott Grant has served as a pastor at Peninsula Bible Church since 1994. He has headed up the singles ministry at the church, currently focusing on the Young Adults Fellowship for adults in their 20s, which began in 1996. Scott grew up in Mountain View, Calif., coming to Christ through a high school church group. He graduated from Pepperdine University in 1979 with a bachelor's degree in journalism. He worked for 11 years as an editor or reporter for several newspapers in Northern California. While working for a newspaper based in Pleasanton, Calif., he began studying the scriptures intensely and teaching the scriptures to high school and college students. He left the newspaper business in 1990 to serve as an intern, further his training in the scriptures and learn ministry at Cole Community Church in Boise, Idaho. After graduating from the Cole Center for Biblical Studies, he joined the staff of Peninsula Bible Church.
